Angelica Chavarro
Angélica Chavarro Franco (b.1976)
Colombian artist based in Bogotá
She holds a Master´s degree in Plastic Arts from the National University of Colombia and has pursued studies in meditative techniques, yoga, kundalini, tarot, genealogy, among others. Her plastic proposals emerge from different forms and techniques: painting, drawing, engraving, writing, weaving and installation.
She explores themes such as mindfulness, the dimensions of thought, and meditation, always framed by the relationship between art and spirituality. She finds profound meaning in unifying her creative process with her spiritual pursuits.
Her works have been exhibited nationally and internationally, both individually and collectively, in museums, fairs and galleries.
